The short version
Benefiat keeps what you enter on your phone. There is no account and no sign-in. We do not run analytics, we show no ads, and we do not sell or share personal data. The app never sends your data to us or to anyone else. If your phone's Android backup is on, Android includes Benefiat's data in your backup to your Google account, as it does for your other apps; we cannot see that backup.
What the app stores on your device
The things you track (their names, intervals, dates and history), and your settings, in the app's private storage on your device. Options → Delete all data removes them, and so does uninstalling the app.
Android backup
If backup is turned on in your phone's settings, Android copies Benefiat's data into your device backup in your Google account and restores it when you reinstall the app or set up a new phone. Google makes and stores that backup under your account and Google's privacy policy; we never receive it. You can turn backup off or delete backups in your phone's and your Google account's settings. A backup made before you deleted your data stays in your Google account until Android replaces it with a newer one.
What leaves your device
- No analytics. The app contains no analytics or usage-tracking software.
- No advertising. The app shows no ads and does not use the advertising ID.
- No crash reporting. Nothing is sent to us when the app fails.
Permissions
Notifications. Used only to show the reminders you set. They are scheduled on the device; no server is involved. You can revoke the permission at any time in Android settings.
Children
Benefiat is intended for adults (18 and over) and is not directed at children.
Your rights
Because the data stays on your device, you exercise most rights yourself: you can read, change and delete it inside the app. If you believe we hold any personal data about you (for example an e-mail you sent to support), you can ask us to access, correct or delete it, and you can lodge a complaint with your data protection authority. In Bulgaria that is the Commission for Personal Data Protection (CPDP).
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version is published at this address with a new effective date.
